Hellboy project status from everyone

hey guys...

just hoping what the status is for everyone that is taking part.

not that there is a rush..we still have 2 months before the suggested completion date. I just want to get an update on whos doing it and where everyone is.

mine is drawn and script is being finalized by me and Jeffchris.

I know where BISHOP is.. looks awesome.

I know SEVANS has been working on his..seen some art...looks awesome

EDIT: duh..i have also seen SCRIBBLYS stuff. looks super awesome.

my brother is working on his section. looks awesome

I saw RobertS post some art. awesome.

The HULK story is still in hiatus; the second script which is being drawn by by DavidNH is still on and no problems so far. There's some tricky artwork so it's still on the roughs and layouts stage but going fine.

I’m going to be tossing in some scripts in the next few days for various folks to peruse and see if they’d be interested in collaborating. At the moment, looks like it’s going to be the Hellboy/Scooby Doo (with some awesome guest stars!) crossover, the Hellboy/Buffy meetup and a visit from Hellboy to a certain TimeLord’s infamous blue box. I’m also working on a story section which brings Hellboy into contact with various magic users from different multi verses in a effort to get HB back where he belongs. Stay tuned...!

Hello guys. Me and Sahith are doing this. Just received the final script yesterday. will finish this as soon as possible. hopefully the art will be done on the end of this month and Ill color them early Feb. :D

no not specifically. I would just like to see everyone do the best they can. if that's just pencils for you...that's fine. or color? great.
I DO want everyone to have the pages lettered and telling the story you come up with. THAT I prefer to be a focus more than inks or colors.

so just a random status based on what ive seen so far...

I just got the pages from RobertS. 6 pages inked and lettered. actually the first guy to turn in everything all done and ready to go. looks frikkin awesome by the way.

my pages are drawn. I know Bishops pages are drawn. seen lots of in-progress stuff from everyone and seriously, its all looking amazing.

the level of quality here is far and away better than the xmen books, which mostly suffered from a chaotic method of production that had the story going all over the place and not being cohesive. but THIS book...with everyone in control of their own story, getting it lettered (and colored in some cases. jealous over here), this is really starting to look like a real book and something we can all be proud of.

again, when this is all done, if we can get someone that knows HOW, to put this all together in a sharable PDF form, if we all go out and share the shit out of it...get lots of people looking and reading it, that would be awesome. maybe we can get Mignolas eyes on it as well.. cause ..why not? and get some eyes back on the site here and generate traffic here again.

proud of what ive seen being done and very glad I kickstarted this concept up again. this ..shit..is ..fun.

a cover is in the works by Matt Triano and inks hopefully by Blip Martindale. and colors are still up in the air.

Hey everyone. Thanks for all the updates. Obviously the “end of February “ deadline is completely flexible. In fact it was already pushed back 2 weeks.

But thank you Matt and Ed..i know you guys are working pros and this voluntary project has to fit around the real paying jobs. But i think we are all on track just fine.

Got several more pages in from artists...we may be hitting 40plus pages total. This is looking amazing guys. Trust me.

Proud of all of us for doing this.

I myself am going in for weight loss surgery tomorrow morning but ill be up and going within a few days if all goes right . But ill be able to be contacted here And by email to stay on top of coordinating this thing. So everything is still on track.

Once we have those, I believe that will be it. All work turned in and done.

And while thinking about it, I figured we needed to have SOME kind of wrap up to the story. Some end. So i talked with BISHOP and floated a concept that he was onboard with and he drew up 2 pages to END the story. And i loved his stuff so much i just had to add a page to it myself cause it seemed so fun. I think you guys will find the character that hellboy encounters and ends his journey kinda interesting, unexpected and fun. Not gonna say who/what it is until you get to read the whole thing but...its fun. Ill just leave that Question in your mind for now.

Anyway...very very close to being done. Its awesome guys...all the work put in. You will love to read this thing..its great. Seriously.
