HEAVEN (AND HELL) ON EARTH
Launch title from Armoured Venus brings a very unusual “slice of life”.

September 18, 2006 (Mount Vernon, IL) - Armoured Venus announces their premier title “heaven/HELL”, a witty and surprising romp through the not-so-afterlife, available now at www.armouredvenus.com.

Originally conceived in 1999, Armoured Venus is home to the creative output of like-minded writers and artists who believe in the art of storytelling through visual medium. This initial title is only the first among a host of varied and diverse projects, many already in production stages to follow this official launch.

Heaven/HELL follows the path and adventures of many colorful characters that help create the Armoured Venus universe. We find our introductions begin with Mathius, the rather out of touch angel called back to assignment on earth, and Delia, his semi-retired partner. In a basic mystery that turns and twists into a complicated who-done-it, we will collide with an extensive cast of angels, demons, and not so average human types.

This title is meant to intrigue and surprise, with many laughs along the way. Difficult to categorize, heaven/HELL has a vibrant life that cannot be tamed into behaving as any one genre. Full of comedy, drama, thoughtfulness, action, and suspense, this title is central to the storytelling techniques each Armoured Venus title will boast. These are the qualities the series creators believe key when breathing life into a rich and real world.

Heaven/HELL issue 1 is currently available at www.indyplanet.com and also www.comixpress.com. Issue 2 will be available from both sites in October.
