Tournament Bracket 1 Round 3 Group 1 Discussion Thread
Bracket 1 Round 3 Group 1 is
Cap, colt45, drewerd, ethanWright, JLIllustrator, Mitze, Nick Em, Ron Phillips, Scaleyinx, TGK I am not providing reference for this round. Your subject is: Spider-Man 2099 drinking a cup of tea This is a double elimination tournament but no shows don't get a second chance. All art show be posted in the the art thread. The art thread for this group is: http://www.digitalwebbing.com/forums...ad.php?t=98087 4 will move into the next round of Bracket 1 the rest move on to Bracket 2. No shows get the boot. The art can be in any stage of completion and in any medium, but it has to be your art and it has to be in the art thread by the deadline. The deadline is 16 September 2006 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time (currently GMT-4). If your art is not in the thread within 6 hours of that time, you will be considered a no show. If your art changes after that time, you will be considered a no show. If your art post is edited after that time, you will be considered a no show. The subject can be interpreted as loosely (within reason) as you wish. If I'm vague, it's purposely vague. However if when reference is provided that should be the reference used. Have fun. Jamal, you need to lay off the pipe.
I've got mine already in mind. Not sure my mediocre scrawls will pull it off. I guess I've got 9 days to learn to draw.

Can it be any type of tea as i was going for a Earl Grey but that might be a bit common. Would Darjeeling be ok ? It is really hard to find good photo ref for tea's.

Terrific start for Group 1, Dreward.
That said, I'm going to bow out. In-laws are in town and I've got a heavy load at work. Plus it's superheroes ... Go Group 1!

You guys are bringin' the shit this round!!!! Awesome on all counts!
If I had to choose one and one only, I think Scaleyinx has a miniscule edge cuz of the beautiful attack on the angle. Love it. Good thing I can vote for more than one. Oh, and I'll have pie!
