You do a much leaner Batman than we are used to seeing...which isn't a bad thing at all. Personally, I'd think a guy who's active as he is, wouldn't be
so muscle bound, but lots more slim and lithe-figured. Very cool.

Haven't posted here in a while. Here's a few more drawings and I tried inking my Turtles pic. I'm thinking of doing the same with a Thor drawing I did.

My 1st attempt at inking...

Raphael

A sort of Manga/Comic I'm working on.

I want to ink, but I may need to do some tweaking.

A few notes. you are on the right path. Here are a few pointers.
1. Watch out for your proportions. The key to a normal person is between 7-71/2 heads to the body. A good trick is 8 heads when drawing superhero's It gives the impression of height, weight and power. Certain characters (spiderman, nightcrawler, et al) this doesn't work for, but for Batman and Superman it is the look that is required. Always remember, when drawing well known superheros, you are drawing iconic characters that have specific looks to them and require them to be drawn that way. Marvel and Dc may think, "wow, the kid has potential, but he draws Batman so thin and small, so we can't use him." you want to draw them as they are imagined to be. when you establish a name in this funny little biz, then you can gain freedom to change and interpret.

2. Even more important is your perspective. Batman is in a completely different perspective thatn the grave stone. You would see more of the top of his head and shoulders and less of his pelvic and lower legs.

You are on the right path, just keep practicing.

Thanks for the pointers. I knew something was off about the perspective, but didn't think it was very noticable.

Hey that's my problem! I blame the invention of the TV remote control, its killed my attention span! Looks good, I get red x's on the inked pictures.

Good looking stuff. As has been said, you're on the right path. You've obviously got skills, you just need to develop those with practice and study, just like the rest of us. Keep it up.
