Vampyre Slayer
It's been awhile since I posted anything here because it has been awhile since I wrote anything new. I have mostly been working on polishing my Mamluk and Cyra scripts for the studio. I did write this little bit of prose for the writing exercises over at UggaBugga.net and thought I would share it.
Enjoy *** Jill tried to arrange her breasts more comfortably in the Girl Scout uniform. At seventeen it was really hard to squeeze into the outfit she had worn comfortably just three years before. But that was before her chest had suddenly expanded. But what she had to do had to be done in this outfit. This was what she was wearing when it had happened. She gave a tug on the skirt, trying to get it to at least cover her ass. Then she slung the bandoleer of crossbow bolts over her shoulder. She had modified it to hold a machete across her back, in easy reach. Looking out the window, she saw that the sun would soon be down. It was almost time. Jill strode through the parking lot of the K-Mart across from her neighborhood towards the stand of trees in the back. Two leather clad hoodlums began to whistle and call out to her, impressed with the stretching fabric that was straining to keep her heaving chest in check. They fell silent when faced with a Barnett Commando pistol crossbow. Somewhat awestruck they watched her walk into the trees. After a half a mile she came to the trail that led up into the rocks. For a moment she stared at the rocks, remembering the first time, the time that started it all. She was fourteen and had been climbing amongst the rocks when she fell into a cavern and broke her leg. It was two days before the rescue workers found her and each night they had come. The first night she managed to fight them off, swinging her arms and slapping at them. But the second night, physically exhausted, she hadn’t been able to remain awake. She awoke the next morning with four of the huge vampire bats lapping up the blood from more than a dozen wounds, numbed from the saliva of the nocturnal flying rodents. They pulled her out screaming. It seemed she had screamed for years. But the worst was yet to come. Without knowing if the vampires were carrying rabies, she had to go through treatment. Five shots straight into the stomach over a month, five very painful shots. Now, each anniversary of the event, she came for some payback. She made sure the bow was cocked and ready then drew the machete, holding it loosely in her left hand. And she waited. A black shape flitted up from the rocks, then another. Jill’s hands tightened on her weapons. Suddenly, a stream of the black winged rats exploded from their half buried lair. Jill raised the crossbow and a bolt flew, meeting a furry body in mid flight. Stabbing the machete into the ground she cocked the crossbow again and fired. Then again, and again. Every time the bow fired another bat fell to the ground, until the ground was covered in squirming bodies and the bandoleer was empty. With a cry of rage she snatched up the machete and waded into the stream of shadows, slashing left and right. Blood accented the dark with shaded drops of scarlet. Then, with a final flurry, the stream of flapping wings was gone and Jill was left standing amidst the carnage. With a savage grin she chopped the heads off of those still struggling. Much slower this time, Jill walked back across the parking lot. One of her breasts had escaped its confines and a rivulet of dark blood ran down it to hang on the nipple. The street light caught the red, sparkling like a ruby piercing. The leather clad punks were still in the parking lot and they watched her walk past, bloody machete at her side. Each wondered if death were a lady and if she had just past them by. Jill didn’t see them, she only wanted to get home and have a shower. Her demons were banished for another year and she was content. |

I am sure everyone has seen the tag line "Inspired by actual events" on a movie or TV show. Well the above story is also inspired by actual events, check it out.

That is interesting, I enjoyed the story even without this interesting tidbit nice use of visual erotica.

welcome back, trey. I wondered what happened to Cyra's story. This is a decent story, especially with the descriptions, very graphic.

Hey Kamikaze, great to hear from you buddy! Cyra is still going strong, I have teamed up with Paul Ridgon, a superb artist from the UK and we hope to have it ready late next year. Since Paul has to work a day job, he can’t devote as much time to it as he would like. Still, things are moving along nicely.
I am currently shopping for an artist for my military sci-fi project called Mamluk. I am hoping to have it out closer to the middle of next year. Paul is doing a six page intro story for Mamluk that will be published in the back of a Markosia title coming up pretty soon. Since I am now a member of Visionary Comics Studio I am doing some stuff for them as well. I am working on a How To article on creating a comic script template that should be out a little later this month. So, you can see I have been really busy of late but now the scripts are all done and the bulk of my time goes towards admin tasks I have more time to hang out on the boards. I am even running a Daily Writing Exercise over at UggaBugga.net. I am having a lot of fun with them and I hope everyone else is too. Well that catches you up a bit. I hope your projects are having as much luck as mine. (well, better than mine actually.) Take care buddy. |
