List the superhero Archetype

Have you ever read a Superhero comic and said "I've seen this character before"?

I'm starting this list to point out all the superhero character types that are in serious need of re-imagining.

The Sky God type: (Superman, Thor, Capt. Marvel (DC))

The Dark Avenger(Batman, Spawn)

The heroic youth(Robin, Spiderman)

The Cosmic Explorer ( the Fantastic Four, The Silver Surfer, Adam Strange)

The Brick (The Hulk, The Thing)

Super feminist: (Wonderwoman, Powergirl, She hulk)

The Scientist (Mr. Fantastic, Braniac 5, Hank McCoy, Henry Pym)

The Patriot (Captain America, Captain Britain)

The Anti-Hero (Wolverine, Punisher, Rorshach)

The Magician (Dr. Strange, Dr. Fate, Zantanna)

I'd put Hulk under jekyl and hyde more then brick. There is a character beyond "hulk smash".

The irresponsible super kid (power pack, shazam)..not sure if irresponsible is right, unexperienced?
