Sketch Magazine: The Art Process

I know that we have some pros here so I'm hoping to find some possible articles on the step-by-step process it takes to produce comics and the artwork involved...pencils, inks, colors...

I'm pretty sure I don't qualify as a pro comic artist, unless small press counts!

but...

I just discovered the joy of charcoal pencils! My newest work that I'm fairly proud of is lightly penciled with an HB then I go over it with a charcoal pencil and smudge it with a bendy eraser. I love the end result, sorry I don't have a sample to show at the moment.

You should know as well as I do that small press does count. You're drawing, aren't you? When you get the chance, let's see some samples!

I've looked at your stuff and I like I saw. You do ink, so you can talk about that. Have you been published? What do you to prepare to ink a page? You have LOADS to talk about.

That was so cool! Think you could turn that into an article for Sketch Magazine? Think about it.

Hi Bill,
I have thought of turning the cover progression into something that would at least resemble an article, so I think it could be developed into an aticle suitable for Sketch Magazine. Feel free to drop me an e-mail.

People say I'm good at teaching or explaining my process. If you need a good soldier to hump something out, lemme know.
