Hi everyone,

I have the domain to: http://www.comicswriter.com , but I'm not planning on renewing it. Obviously, I don't want it to be bought up by a porn site or something non-comicbook related. How does one go about auctioning it off? All proceeds will go towards paying my artists.

You can utilize several afternic solutions. You can find these on reputable registrars like GoDaddy, Register.com, Network Solutions. You can also alternatively auction it on eBay.com. Of course it's hard to guarantee if the winning party won't utilize it for something other than comics.

How much do you expect to get out of it?

I wouldn't have too high of expectations for the resell value. I sold one on ebay a couple years ago for $50. At the time the price hadn't dropped out and $50 was about the cheapest you could get a domain. I think you might still be able to get that price today, but you'd really have to find someone who really wanted it.

I'd personally offer maybe $10-15 for it. Maybe ... lol ... that's all I need is another domain.

it was comicart-l.org but it was purchased by a porn site and then by someone else.
