After looking at the list of publishers accepting submissions, I started to get chittery... And after leaving Wizard World yesterday I felt determined to improve my artistic skills, and see if I can't utilize the patience needed to draw properly...

is a small press publisher that takes quarterly writing pitches for the themes of our black and white anthologies. Stories range from 2-4 pages (2 for new writers). It's unpaid work but you do get paired with an artist and you retain all the rights to your work.

The best part is we periodically have comic pros working on books. We don't announce them ahead of time but Gail Simone, Brent Peeples, Sterling Gates, Glenn Greenberg, Len Wallace and Mike Lapinski have all worked with us in the past. Some are returning for this years round as well.

Sterling has actually agreed to be a part of our ongoing horror anthology and will have a story running through the first several issues.

We like to let people tell great stories and use our books to build their portfolios and craft their art. So check out the site periodically for updates.
