The vast majority of translation/translated material jobs seem to want you to work directly into InDesign. I've just finished a job for a French publisher who seemed determine to make my life as difficult as possible because I wanted use Illustrator.

I've turned down at least two jobs, one of them manga, because of the client's insistence that it's done in ID.

Cheers

Jim

I'm actually doing original manga, created by an American to read left to right, but manga-style art and trim size (5.5 x 7.75). I use Illustrator CS2 to letter standard size comics, and have been using the template provided by Ninjalettering for years. Was wondering if there was a similar template anywhere out there for manga.
