Shouldn't there be...

... a TOYS section in DW Forums? It's not really appropriate to cram all movie tie-ins and Sideshow Collectibles' figures in Movie and Television, while others post GoW figs in Video Games. It should be concentrated on one forum/sub forum.

I'm pre-ordering a Persona 4 figure and dabble in collectible figurine sculpting, and I don't know how to show them off without getting all troublesome in remembering where to post what to comment which.

There should be a lot of things in the DW forums.

Marvin often discusses toys in the movies section.
Neither him or I can create the subsection, but I support it... For whatever that's worth.

But the figures/toys are always tv/movie related. If you mean a general section for stuff that's only vaguely related (like toy series, like Marvel Legends, etc) that aren't directly linked to movies or tv, then why not just start a chat here in chit chat? I doubt a separate toy section would be active enough to warrant it's own subforum.

Please listen to Moonrider and impliment Moonrider's idea of a forum for fetishists who love to have sex with plushies.

We owe it to Moonrider to fulfill his plushie fetish wish.

Someone suggests a music section every once in a while too. Not enough music posts to justify a section. Same with toys.

That's a bit of a misnomer, though I may be using that word improperly.

There aren't enough music or toy posts because there's no place for them.

Conversely, there's a board for several major comic publishers here and not enough posts to fill those.

Really the only way to know if they'd be used is to create them.

I can't really go on a political tear every time something in the news irks me, though I'd love to, because that's not really "proper" for chit-chat. If there were a "Politics" forum, I'd be all over that and I have a feeling it would be very well-used. Full of flaming and death threats, but well-used.

Were I in charge (another perennial favorite) I'd set the forum up like this: http://sharkpunch.com, but with the requested toy/music areas and other specifics relative to this community.

Politics used to be like 2/3 of chit chat at points.

But I'm probably the last active member from among those who got into it. (Well, depending on whether or not you count Justice41's contributions. )

There used to be a politics sub forum (Beyond the Frame).

I could have sworn there was a music sub forum at one point as well. Maybe just format the wrestling sub forum and re-christen it for music.

If we make a Toys subforum, I predict there will be a 'realdoll' thread every few months...

Beyond the Frame is a subscriber-only forum now. At least it has been since I subscribed in the past.

Nobody uses any of the subscriber forums. Last I saw there were a couple threads from me begging/demanding site updates to no avail.
