Check it out: the world is abuzz with crowd funding comics, Womanthology is huge, Comic Con is a major entertainment event, Stan Lee is the American 'kami no manga.' Hmm, maybe comic books are more mainstream than we thought.

The demand is there. Comic industry is completely and utterly failing at distribution and service.
on all digital, direct, and b/m fronts.

Crowd funding goes right to the market basically. No surprise its doing so well. Its directly engaging your fanbase.

Comic con is.. well more about movies, games then comics. but still good for the industry.

Comic IP's are mainstream thanks to movies, TV, and games.
But its not comics themselves that are breaching. its IP's based on them in movies, games and animation that are becoming more mainstream.

Wow there are a lot more crowd funding sites than I thought. One just for comics? That's fantastic. Nothing on there yet so I'm guessing it's fairly new but I think it's fantastic that more of us creators are getting more and more oppurtunites

I'm glad someone is doing this. I considered it, what with the Kickstarter clone scripts being plentiful, but I think we know how that would've gone. XD So it's nice to see someone will actually get it off the ground.

Too bad they picked a poor name when there are much better ones out there.
