Was the autopilot ever repaired for the Bat?

The final scene--was Alfred seeing only what he wished to see, or did Batman bail out of the Bat before it made it to sea because the autopilot had been fixed?

I really didn't like the movie. The first two were great.

Second movie sucked. Just a mess of a movie with the constant droning on and speechifying and monologuing of the characters to the point of tune out.
Seriously we had that idiot at the bank talking to the audience about respect or whatever drivel he was shouting. Nolan doesn't quite get the concept of the 4th wall. Don't have your characters talking in speech mode to the audience or viewers, its annoying. He did it in BB but i let it go as it was the first Nolan flick i'd seen. But i noticed it immediately. The fat Mobsters speech to us about Fear. Bales speeches about Messages or whatever drivel he was saying on the plane home. Neesons constant speechifying. There's something just a bit too Pat about how the characters interact. It's as if they are saying their lines wait for the others to speak then continue with their lines etc etc etc. It may just be me but that's what i've seen in Nolan's Bat flicks and that stupid Inception piece of shit movie. How many speeches to the audience did Nolan have his buttboys do in Inception? Gave up on that flick about the time they were about to do that Sting operation.

I haven't seen you contribute anything above any random user, myself included. You talk shit, maybe post some art, what else?

Admittedly I wasn't on the forum for a great span of your reign. Maybe enlighten me as to something you've contributed? Hell, for all I know you're the proverbial glue that keeps this sinking balsa ship together.

Eh what I've done speaks for itself. good or bad. You, I didn't even notice till a bout 2 years ago.I suppose you were then and still are irrelevant except to act as DW's needy little bitch. Understand if you have done anything except start meaningless drivel threads i haven't seen it. If you have done some writing on any of the DW brand's books, i haven't seen it. If you have done any artwork or helped any artists, colorists, writers, letterer's, inkers out with any relevant info or tips i haven't seen it. But being irrelevant as you are I wouldn't have wasted a second to look anything up.

Yes.

Fox was asking the engineers to go over the bat to see what he could have done to get the auto-pilot working. They told him it had been repaired two weeks (I think) ago, and that Wayne's access code or whatever the hell it is was associated with the fix.

Okay, so that wasn't just wishful thinking made visual on Alfred's part. It was real at the end.

Why did Talia want to finish her father's work? She said that she resented him for ostracizing Bane. I guess she respected the work if not the man?

Since Bane was exiled by Ra's, why would he also want to finish Ra's Al Ghul's work? Bane was never even really a part of the League of Shadows...Ra's couldn't stand the sight of him and told him to get lost. But Bane appears to consider himself a part of the League in the movie, telling Batman that he betrayed them.

Bukyrig, check my work one more time: Ra's used to screw a woman that was the daughter of a warlord he worked for. Warlord angry, locks Ra's up. Woman trades place with Ra's so he can be free. Woman gives birth to Talia in prison. Woman killed, Talia looked after and protected by prisoner Bane. Bane helps Talia escape. Ra's Al Ghul and League return and tear shit up. Bane is ugly so Ra's says get the fuck outta here.

What does Bane do at that point? He just goes off and chills until the events of Batman Begins where, apparently afterward, Talia Al Ghul reconnects with him and involves him in a plot to finish her father's work?

This movie was fucked up.
