I have to echo Bishop's statement as well. I'm also a Christian and I don't see anything really offensive about it either, though it does need some work. As for Jesus as a superhero, Stan Lee faced the same dilemma when he created 'Thor' and opted to steer away from the concept, though he did create characters that are devout Christians, such as Nightcrawler.

As for Kong's observations, I've had to deal with people like that myself and their actions are the very reason that we are encouraged to study the scriptures and go to the source, so that those who would hi-jack Christ's teachings would be unable to do so and the good that Christ's teachings can accomplish can be made manifest in not only our lives but in our world as well.
