Artist Needed For Webcomic (Paying Gig)

Hi, guys. I co-write a webcomic called Montgomery X. Chesterfield, Gentleman of the 22nd Century with my friend and colleague Mark Kleman. You can check out the first two stories here.

It's a pretty wacky, sci-fi adventure series influenced by Jack Kirby and the Scott Pilgrim series. The format of the series is monthly, five to eight page stories that mimic the dimensions of actual print comic pages.

The reason I'm posting here is because our co-creator and artist, Kat Larkin, has recently been hired for a full time job and is unable to continue on the series. Mark and I both really want to continue Monty X though, and to that end, we're looking to hire some artists to do some work for hire.

Some things to keep in mind: you don't have to ape Kat's style. We're looking for something cartoony, but we want you to put your own stamp on these characters and worlds. Secondly, you don't have to commit to any specific amount of issues. If you'd like to do one story for a quick sum of money, that's fine. If you want to do a bunch, that's cool too. However, we are looking for someone that can color and letter their own work. Also, although we do pay a page rate, Mark and I are both at the beginning of our writing careers. It's not a super high page rate, and we hope you'll consider this job because you like the project and are looking for exposure.
