I'm horrified by how few people I know actually appreciate this, so I'm hoping you guys will share my excitement.

There is a Neil Gaiman quote on the cover of my new book.

Yes, that's me. Books are on digital, but not sure what US availability is like. Not officially published in the US yet, I'm in the UK. Think you can buy the Kindle versions though.

To demonstrate the power of Gaiman - my site (link above) was getting about 1000 visitors a day when Neil tweeted a link to a post I'd written about my meeting with him in Edinburgh, where he got a copy of the book. Over the next two hours 36,000 people visited my site. By one minute past midnight the following day, I'd had almost twice my usual daily visitor count.

He's a good lad that Gaiman.

I used all my Scottish charm and wit on every assistant he has working for him. And it probably helped that I didn't give him the book myself, but a bookseller did.
