Writer Seeking Artist for Short (7 Page) story

Currently, I'm a fledging writer (who currently co-hosts a podcast) who has written a short, 7 page story (featuring some sci-fi, comedy, and a slight Western tone) for inclusion in a small indie comic to be published this summer. (Comic would be in color, distributed on demand, etc)

Since I am unable to pay, would love to help "pay it forward" and give a fledgling artist some small scale exposure. This book (to be published through IndyPlanet) can be made available for signings, distributing, etc.

First, for those of you who initially responded - my apologies; I'm only now starting to get back in touch and play catchup. I also realized that I was *really* unclear in my initial post, so I wanted to specify what I'm looking for.

I'm currently co-host of a podcast, and we've spun off a webcomic, which features us in various pop culture-inspired hero roles. I'm writing a seven page story which is rather comedic in tone (I like to think of it as "SERENITY as written and performed by the Marx Brothers") for inclusion - this would be a full-color comic.

Bad news - this is not a paid gig. The only concrete rewards I can offer is that this book will be made available via IndyPlanet, and that participants would be able to get copies at cost for signings, their portfolio, etc.

So what am I looking for? Here goes:

• Penciller/Artist - someone who can draw in a cartoon/slightly anime style (this is a comedy - with some science fiction and Western elements. Let that be your guide). I can provide samples of character design to make it easier.
• Inker - someone with a deft touch who can bring out the best in any artist
• Letterer - thankfully, I have a really good candidate and will be contacting him in the next day or so. We're covered there.
• Colorist - yes, this is going to be a full color book, but I would love to work with someone who can bring nuance to colors, and has a strong vibrant approach

Ok, I admit - I'm being picky, but this is my first work as well, so I'm looking to help "pay it forward". I'm also following up because, quite honestly, if I'm not willing to communicate while collaborating, it makes everything less worthwhile.
