Aristotelian Elementals

The guys over at ConceptArt.org have a weekly Creature of the Week challenge (COW). This week's is designing the four Aristotelian Elementals of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air.

I did a rough page to isolate some design ideas and distil what I felt graphically represented the elements and then roughed in a few ideas for each creature based on those. Next I pulled from those to figure out my designs, added color, and that's where they are now. Next step is to take each one and refine the rendering and some design tweaks. Feel free to crit and comment, please.

Cool looking, I remember doing stuff like this back in school, this kinda stuff never gets old, I gotta do these more often to keep on my grind, cool stuff.
