A Little About Yourself: I'm a qualified Architect working in the UK, I design and draw space and have been paid to do that for about 25 years. Recently I've made some comic work and am currently working on a short book (the work from which I can't post publicly), which I'm very excited about. The posted image was published in the UK anthology, Solipsistic Pop 4 (Maps and Travel), in November '11.

A Litte About Yourself:

My name is Candace and I am 23 year old (24 this month) Canadian artist.

Like many of you here I have been drawing my entire life and I don't plan on stopping. I remember as a child writing and drawing my own comics in hopes that one day they would be in the newspaper right alongside Garfield and Peanuts. I have dabbled in comics most of my life and have recently tried out making web comics.

I have a diploma in New Media and Animation and I am now working on my Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Illustration in my free time. I am currently working as a freelance illustrator but have previous experience working at a studio in a fairly generalist position as a virtual world designer (I did UI, 3d art, 2d art, etc. for educational virtual worlds).

On an unrelated note I just got married this January to the love of my life who happens to be a programmer. In our spare time, we have been known to make mobile games as a bit of a couple's activity haha

If you guys have any questions feel free to ask and I'll be sure to respond.

I have not yet had the opportunity to work on a Womanthology project, emphasis on yet. :P I found out a little too late about the project so I was unable to be a contributor for Heroic. I did however, make sure I backed Womanthology on Kickstarter. It is such an incredible opportunity for women/girls in the comic industry!

I have been here for the long haul and offered my services on the old forum so I'm offering them again here. I would really like to be a part of this in whatever way I can (hopefully as a contributing artist).

A Little About Yourself: Gracie is a third grader who loves to dance, draw and tell tall tales. When she was 6, she started doing 5- to 10-minute sketches of superheroes and cartoons several nights a week. A Little About Yourself: I'm a tech support geek in a call center who draws in between phone calls and carries her sketchbook with her everywhere. I'm married with 2 cats and a dog and I'm currently in the suburbs outside of Philly. I love comic book, manga, anime and cartoons of all other kinds, as well as horror movies and just about anything involving zombies. I knit, spin or crochet when I'm not drawing to keep my sanity.

My name is Hannah, my hair is pink, and I'm a hairstylist. I love my job! I get to create for a living, as well as in my spare time. What more could a girl ask for? The salon I work at is conveniently located next to our local comic shop. Needless to say I'm a frequent shopper!
