That one bit turned you off to the whole series? I wish there were some characters I could enjoy...some newer additions rather than the same old guys...I need like an Xmen unlimited where they have stories with newer mutants.

It didn't turn me off to the whole series, but it did stick out like a sore thumb. The opening stuff with Phoenix was pretty awesome. The rest was okay.

They did that metal detector thing years ago in Jo Linsnser's Claws mini series with Wolverine and Black Cat. I liked it then. Ill see if i like it now.

I may gonna try and watch this past the first episode to see if the show picked up any pace. The Wolverine anime look more interesting, though. I hope that one is good.
