Yeah, looks amazing. Hal's stupid jokes are still a little cringe-worthy, but meh. It looks pretty awesome.

Looks like they are actually doing it right. Far batter than that first trailer. I want to see this now, and I hope they keep the dark sci-fi vibe that this footage has.

All initial reservations are gone, this looks great!

Shiniku - it wouldn't be Hal Jordan if he wasn't making wise cracks...and Ryan Reynolds is made to be a smart ass.

No, still not sold. I'll go and see it, and I'm hoping for the best, but not expecting too much.

The trailer does make me feel a little better. It seems like they're trying to play down the comedic elements in this trailer to curb fan criticisms. Oa and the Corps look great, but I still can't get over how bad Reynolds looks and Skarsgard (?) too. I like Reynolds a lot as an actor, but I still don't think he's right for Hal Jordan.

I don't think it will be a winner, but the good thing about going in with low expectations is that it's easier to be impressed when I do see it. I'm hoping for the best. I really want DC to pick up their game.

I'm sure it will do well, but that doesn't mean it'll be any good. I hope it is. I'm certainly not rooting against it. It just doesn't have me entirely convinced yet.

I also don't think it will be the biggest box office winner this year. I think that honor will go to Thor. Maybe Cap, but probably Thor, I predict.

Still don't like the mask (why not just use an actual prop, instead of CGI for it? Even if it's not cgi, it certainly looks it).

I'm not sure of the official villain (the trailer makes it look like it's related to Parallax), but there's a video game out called "Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters" and has Ryan Reynolds on the cover, so I don't know what's going on specifically.

Still, I must admit that trailer makes it look way better than Xmen First class or The Amazing Spider-Man.

to be fair we haven't had a trailer for The Amazing Spider-man yet

we could give it chance, i like the images and news from Spidey at the mo, but it could all change with the trailer, positively or negatively.

i'm still not entirlely sure that i'm gonna go watch Green Lantern.

it just doesn't feel like GL. it looks like a cartoon mostly.

some of the CGI looked rough as well, i'm guessing that they mustn't have polished it all up yet. particularly a shot of Abin Sur

That's a pretty good point. It makes more sense that it's CGI-looking rather than something more tangible anyway.

We've come a long enough way that they can make the domino look decent w/o it having to be exclusively cgi. In the trailer it doesn't even look like it's on his face right. Like a bad photoshop paint job.
