That's too bad. He wasn't all that old. I remember my brother having that book when I was a kid and being fascinated by the cover.

Dang. I read all of the Redwall books that had then been published when I was in middle school. I lost interest and didn't continue reading the series, but always had a bit of nostalgia for the series.

Wow! I was just talking about this elsewhere. We were discussing the influences of the Redwall series Mousguard among others.
