SeanE will become famous soon enough
jin hu cover

Got paid to do this one!!! - yay me!!!

So Carlton Hickman, creator of this comic book, got Edu Francisco to draw the cover up and then got topcow colourist Sunny Gho to colour it for him. Sunny sends him a low res copy... and disappears with the high res final version. Carlton wanted some changes done, but couldn't contact Sunny at all... and the comic is getting closer and closer to his print deadline!

Enter me, stage right. Carlton asks me to re-colour the cover from scratch, but to try to emmulate the appearance and colouring of Sunny's version as much as possible but do the changes that he wants.... Ok, away we go, and this is what it now looks like! Not *exactly* the same as the original colours by Sunny, but as close enough as I can get.

cheers
Sean

I like the the rendering on the Dragon and the Avatar looking guy.

I think you did a good job on this.

Now if I am to critique it...
The guy in flames, the color hold is more green and think it'd look better with red. As it is the color hold is blending with the mountain.

The other thing is the building behind the old man. The color is very close to the his robes and is blending a bit too. I'd say to drop the building back a little at least.

Looks good though Sean, glad to see you got paid for it.
