Nope. They ain't got masks...nunchucks or sai's. But if they did carry weapons, we'd be in for serious ass whoopin's.
I did these for the Ripple project started by illustrator Kelly Light. A site dedicated to helping the ocean life in the Gulf try and recover from the devastating oil disaster. It works pretty simple, pick a piece of art on the site. Notify Kelly and her crew, she holds the art while you run over and donate $10.00 for non pros, or $50.00 for pros to 1 of the 4 organizations helping clean and care for these poor creatures. Send her the proof of payment, the artists sends you the original.
I just sent these tonight so it may take a few days for her to get them up. If you're interested in purchasing or you're an artist and would like to donate some art here's the link.

My thanks to Ingrid Hardy (jedipencil)for the hook up. It made me feel amazing to do this.

Jim, wow, love these turtles. Beautiful color. Very vivid. Also, nice inkdrop oil effect.

Does look beautiful, well done, Jim. However, I was expecting the teenage mutant ninja variety

I was thinking TMNT as well, but I'm ok with this. The coloring is amazing.

Thanks guys...and right you are, David. Pen/ink, markers and colored pencil.
My wife wanted copies of these...until I dropped the ink on them.
I tried to make them as bright, rich and vibrant, knowing I was dropping ink. Kind of trying to make a statement. Thanks again. J.

I admit, I thought there was going to be ninjas involved.

Still, you did a great job!
