Antaractic Press?

Is that company still afloat. That place hasn't updated itself since 2009. Can anyone confirm. I sent a submission back March of 2010, but haven't heard anything yet.

From what I know they're still around. And usually if you don't hear back from a company after submitting that means they're not interested right now.

What's the normal wait time of a submission?

They're releasing Brian Keene's THE LAST ZOMBIE. I think issue 3 just solicited.

I was just worried because many of the updates to the comics hadn't been done over a year. I just wonder what their wait time is for a submission.

There is no "normal" wait time. Each company is different. Some get back to you right away. Some never do. Some in a few weeks. If you don't hear back in a month, send a follow up email. If you don't hear back after that, assume that the company is not interested.

Yeah that maybe the case because Rod has answered me in the past whether he liked a project or not. (The last one was a different project then the current) I've sent an email and followed up with regular mailed samples as well. (2 weeks ago) Oh well, 12 years down the drain.

Well, having not seen the project it's hard to say, but remember Antarctic isn't the only publisher out there.

I pimped it out at one point. I have the sample pages, which is what their submission ask for...

They're supposed to be releasing a new Lady Death series starting in January.
