Adobe Illustrator Cs3 Question

I've been using Freehand for over 10 years and since the jerks at Adobe don't plan on making it anymore, I guess I better switch to Illustrator. Damn it....Anyway, here's a question: is there any way to set up my own crop marks to use with the "apply crop marks" filter? When I hit "apply crop marks" it give me the 4 corners marked, but I need the top corners and middle marked instead. Is this possible without manually doing it? See attached for what I mean.
