Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: 2025
This was a commissioned piece, taking characters from various shows and having adult versions of them be the members of the new SHIELD team (those that aren't already adults). These are the pencils, inks and colors are coming, but I'd be interested what people think, and whether the characters are recognizable (the answers are on my deviant site if you are dying to know
). Thanks for looking,Adam |

It's interesting, BUT they still don't look like adults.
Teens maybe, except the older guy in the front. |

If you're going for INSTANT recognition, the pencils are not doing it. Maybe the colors will help. The way the guy in the front arms are folded gives the impression he's cold, which I would imagine would be the case on the deck of the helicarrier. It's a nice piece, but I don't recognize anyone.

@sevans,
Yeah, I see what you mean. I probably should have said "aged", most of these guys are little kids in their normal incarnations. @Myron The colors will help, I hope. Instant recognition is probably beyond my talents, considering both the aging and some radical changes in style. The guy to the far right, for example, is Dexter from Dexter's Lab. I can't even conceive of how to make him grown, recognizable, and drawn in such a different style. But, as I said, I'll be using the colors to lay as many hints as I can. Should also mention that I had never even heard of two of these characters before researching for the commission, so expecting recognition may have been a little optimistic on my part. Although a friend on ConceptArt nailed five of them right off the bat.Thanks for the looks and the feedback, guys. Adam |

The likenesses seem pretty good to me.
Aang, Blossom flying, Sam from Totally spies, Jack Bauir, not sure on the flying girl, or the one right below her. Looks like willow flying, and scully on the ground. but I don't think that is supposed to be right. Kim possible kneeling, and Dexter at the end. Dex is awfully tall for a short character. And aang seems to be not in correct proportion. |

Hmmm. Number1 huh.
Two bald kids. I have no good ideas, as its a big change in style. |

I knew it was scully.... ha..
I did caricatures for a couple of summers, and tried to do an example of her and mulder. Mulder was easy, but scully was hard. Shes a great lookin woman, but shes got some weird features. |

With the inks you definitely nailed the likenesses for Willow, Jack Bauer, and Agent Scully.
And, trust me... I was the editor on IDW's 24 comic. I looked at a lot of attempts to draw Kiefer Sutherland. |

That looks more like George W. than Kiefer Sutherland to me.
Georges head is too big, which is what's making him look like a kid. |
