Frank Frazetta Dies at 82

This is truly a sad day for artist of all genres. This man will go down in history as one of the great artist of all time. He will be studied and continue to inspire artist for generations for many MANY years. I'm sure we'll continue to see your work when we look up in the sky and see something amazing. We love you man, you have made a HUGE impact on me as an artist and as a person.

RIP Frank Frazetta

Oh no.

This guy changed everything for me... he and Al Williamson were the two biggest influences on me... sad to see him go.

RIP.

One of the first names that stuck in my head when I was young and started reading fantasy. Unique.

Been bummed out about it all afternoon. Even though he was elderly...his passing still seems a little surreal at the moment.

Frazetta, along with Basil Gogos and H.R. Giger, probably influenced my taste in art as a teenager more than any others.

Even though I own the "complete" Robert E. Howard Conan books I still look for the old used Conan books from the 70s with Frazetta's art on the covers - the stories just aren't the same without it.

I still have my pencil drawings I used to do all the time of his work when I was in highschool. He was a major influence, I will miss him.

The most influential artist of the twentieth century and beyond.
I appreciate the small snippets of video I have seen of him drawing. Even left handed. A real master.
