RIP Robert B. Parker

Found out about an hour ago that Spenser and Jessie Stone writer, Robert B. Parker, died. He was found at his desk, apparently doing what he loved to do.

The Spenser for Hire series from television first introduced me to the character and during the late 80s I read several of the books. Recently I introduced my 94 yr old grandfather to the Jesse Stone books, hoping to find a series he could enjoy. He did. Sadly now I'll only be able to provide him with one more book in the series.

RIP Mr. Parker. Hope you always catch your bad guys and say "hey" to Mr. Urich for me.
