Photshop CS Question

Ok when I'm doing stuff in photoshop sometimes the keys will change on me. The W will not be the wand anymore it'll ask me to save instead. The L won't be the lasso it'll be the levels adjusting thing.

Howdo I get it back the same and what am I doing to make the buttons change?

CTRL (Command) + W is close
CTRL (Command) + L is levels

Looks like you're inadvertantly holding down the CTRL (Command) key.
