Banners, Postcards, and other Swag experiences
I haven't seen a thread like this in a while, so I figured it was high time to share our experiences with printing companies and such for doing banners, postcards, business cards, tees, and other swag.
I used Vistaprint (http://www.vistaprint.com) to make up these vinyl banners. Their processing time was pretty quick, and the quality is great. Their prices are nice, too and they tend to send a lot of big discounts and even free offers through email. Thumbs up. Large Banner, around $40.00 ![]() Small Banner, free after ordering the large banner through an email special offer ![]() I also used Vistaprint (through one of the freebie emails mentioned above) to make up some business cards and some businesscard sized magnets. They turned out great and the price was exactly right! 250 business cards, free through Vistaprint email offer. 25 magnets, free through Vistaprint email offer. 1000 doublesided postcards through Overnightprints, around $80.00 shipped (after using a coupon found on Google search) ![]() I used Overnightprints (http://www.overnightprints.com) to make up the 4"x6" postcards. I've used them a few times in the past and they're always good quality and fast printing. A simple Google search usually turns up a decent coupon for Overnight Prints orders, too. Thumbs up to Overnightprints as well. Share your experiences? Together we can all benefit! -House (the other JasonM)

For postcards, try Next Day Flyers (http://www.nextdayflyers.com/postcar...postcards.php). 1000 Double sided full color 4"x6" postcards for $40.95 plus shipping (if you select 2-4 business day turnaround).
What are you using to hang the banner? |

Oh ya, forgot to post the hangers. For the big banner, there's some plastic fold-over-the-corner-type things that stick to the banner. They have eyelets built in. Like thus...
![]() For the small banner, I'll just use some good gaffers tape on the back, methinks. Thanks on the tips for Next Day Flyers. Good prices! -House (the other JasonM) |

It's not only a sitdown Ms. PacMan... It's a sitdown Ms. PacMan with about 60 other sweet, sweet 80's games including Donkey Kong, AND Galaga! ... http://sacramento.newsreview.com/Mis...Ad?oid=1895165
Let's keep this rolling. Any other places to check out for good swag and handouts? I have http://www.4imprint.com/default.aspx bookmarked but haven't had the chance to try them yet... -House (the *NEW AND IMPROVED* JasonM)

I was very happy with Sugar House Banners, which sounds similar in quality and price to Vista Print. (You can see my banner at my blog here.)
For postcards I have used postcards.com and for pin buttons, purebuttons.com. |
