Lightstorm from R and R Comics

Hi, everyone.

Here are the pencils for my first installment of R and R Comics' Lightstorm.

Be sure and check out the site for what has gone before in the Lightstorm saga by Jamie Cottle and Erik Roman. Also, take a look at the other webcomics from R and R.

I dig this! Has a great old school Marvel feel to it.

Great!

I LOVE what you did with the characters and think it's better than the first 8 pages I did.

Were I doing this page, however, I would have pulled back on the second panel and showed more of the environment so you know where you're at.

VERY cool.

Real nice. Looks like early Buscema. And I agree with Erik about that second panel. Need a sense of space or location to anchor everything in. J.

Thanks, guys. Erik, I'm especially glad you like what I've done! I agree that the establishing shot shot have been opened up a lot more.

Sweet!

Lightstorm is in great hands.

Your character designs are so old school marvel. A perfect look for the strip.

Keep on keepin' on!

I agree here, some sweet classic looking stuff. I reallg dig it. My only gripe is that I can't figure out where the head is on the kneeling girl in panel 2 of page 1...don't know if it's behind the book thing she's holding, if she has a weird shape head/neck/if her head is leaning down, or if you drew it wrong....it's driving me crazy . Keep up the great work man!

She is leaning her head down. Sort of a difficult angle that maybe I didn't quite pull off
