Sketchbook cover Step by Step

Hey Folks,
long time no see.
Here is Piece, that took me some time. I liked it so I thought it would be cool to share it with youall:-)

The first step was to draw the picture on average printing paper and adding lightsources and minimal shading to the prelim. After that I lightboxed the picture (Sadly I didnt do a scan of the lightboxed piece, but you can get the Idea from looking at the unfinished pieces). Then I went down and added the gray tones. Ive used black bencils and every possible soft pencil (3B - 8B) and some graphite pencil.

I hope you enjoy it. You can find more of my Stuff @ http://sedatoezgen.blogspot.com
Regards,
Sedat

Thats a great looking image there is only one thing that is bugging me about it.

The girl in the foreground with the sword. She's got her arms going back over this snake monster thing, but there isn't much bend in her arms. So it gives the impression that the monster has no thickness/volume to its body. Its like her arms are hanging over a cardboard cut out of a monster. If you get a pillow and try doing the same pose yourself at home, I think you'll find your thumb is up by the top of your hip bone.

oh and if that is the hulk screaming. I'd make the back of his head and neck a bit thicker. It looks a bit out of proportion with the front of his head at the moment.

I really like the other hulk sketches you did on your blog

Looking forward to getting my hands on "bald eagle". Let me know when it comes out.

Just a logic moment. Her arms, wouldn't she be spiked by the creature's spines into her arms?
