Where's the love for Union Jack?

I was just looking at a Toyfare and saw a Marvel Universe ad with Union Jack, I've always liked his costume and immediately felt compelled to draw him...so here he is. Plus a background featuring every stereotypical English thing I could think of....cheeky.

hah I love that background. Long live the stereotyping of Blighty.

edit: just for authenticity you might want a floating corpse in the river.

Dynamic design. Clean slick line work. But I can't figure out if he's flying, walking on air or maybe on top of a building.

it's a great drawing, but poses like this with no context frustrate me. like why is he jumping and shooting when nothing else exciting is happening in the picture. i don't mean to be a dick, but if you're going to spend this much time with a drawing, tell a story with the picture. also, his head is misshapen and he would look cooler without the rendering of the mouth outline in the mask.

Awesome! Great work as usual Jeff Dub! Those she-hulk sequentials were stellar too(sans extreme upshot of she-hulk walking from courtroom...incredibly tough tough angle that any lazy ass(like myself) would have settled for something easiar ).

And Brian Buster...it's a pin-up! It's supposed to be in your face and eye catching.

Thanks guys, yeah I see what you mean about his placement, he's supposed to be jumping, but I cut off the background with that frame and now it looks like his other leg may be on top of a building..oops.

Thanks guys. Fun fact here, I ALMOST made a mistake on the cars. I drew one side of the detailed bridge and then the cars on it, well, they ended up on the right side of the road (oops), so I just cheated and made it a one way street. Hooray for laziness.

If that water is the River Thames, then the Millenium Eye would be across the river from Big Ben, yet we appear to see it looming in the background? How's that for useless nit-picking? lol! Seriously though, I love detail and you packed plenty in here. The anatomical things pointed out by others are super-minor and easy fixes. Nice job!

Really nice work Jeff. The only thing I'm really seeing as a critique is that the cross in the middle is too thick. oh and you've drawn big ben from the street side but drawn in the river. Big Ben and the London eye are on opposite sides of the river thames. Your london eye is way off. too small on the radius. It looks like it's in the air. The bottom bubbles/cars reach the ground so you can get on.

I'll let that go as artistic licence.

Awesome rendering as usual, Jeff. I assumed he was seperate from the background and not in that environment due to the way you chose top panel it.

I wish they kepy the CP Smith costume redesign from New Invaders. I really liked that.
