It's about time for a portrait of my idol.

I posted the line drawing and sketch on My Blog, but more importantly I included a video of one of Gonzo's great acts for your viewing pleasure.

as a kid and even to this day I always questioned what gonzo was (like slimer from the ghostbusters, i know hes supposed to portray the belushi frat charcter, but speaking in jibberish and slobbering leads me to believe hes a dead baby or dead old man,lol) is gonzo like a mutant mosquito or demon? help me please! oh good art btw, i like how you chose the portrait look w the bow and all. kudos

Great pic. Digging the textures and 'roughish' colours.

Thanks guys! Ya'll are right, he's an alien, as revealed in Muppets in Space (love that film). I still like referring to him as a weirdo or creep though, makes me chuckle.
