Ultimate Alliance 2

hey guys, they showed off teh 3D model for Deadpool recently. Wow, he looks AWESOME.

This brings up something on my mind a lot lately; the video game companies KNOW how to make comic book tights realistic and tactical and believable. I just find it a bit annoying how hollywood is too lazy to NAIL it like vidya game designers do. They just know what they're doing big time. Tell me this would not look good in live action!

* go ahead an talk about anything else MA2 - i don't own a ps3 but i should save up; I would really love to play MA2 and Batman Arkham

I'm really looking forward to this. As much as I loved the first one, McNiven's designs are really gonna' pop with these graphics.

I love that Iron Fist is gonna be in it. It's about time he got his due. The last time I saw him in a game was in the SNES Maximum Carnage game; he was like a special boost for spidey when he was in trouble, and he would do a flying kick across the screen and then disappear.
Also happy Daredevil is in it again. He's pretty much my favorite Marvel hero ever, and I was let down when they canceled his supposed game. He was fun to play in the last one.
I think he was in Marvel Nemesis Imperfects or whatever, I'm almost tempted to buy that game (as cheap as possible) just to play DD.

I'll warn you against Nemesis. Jae Lee is my favorite artist so I went for it..... LEAVE THIS ONE ALONE. The game play is terrible. The animation is choppy, and there is a very specific line in the story mode where it become damn near impossible to go any further.

There's this really strange thing that happens towards the end where all the levels become insideously difficult because of time limits, or restrictions on ways to win or something along those lines. I thought it would just be a cool fighting game like PowerStone.... nope. It sucked BIG TIME.

So you love DD. Cool. So do I, but Nemesis will frustate you to no end and it won't matter who's in it, becaue you'll be too mad to care.

I used to work at GameStop. It sold consistantly for two weeks... then they all came flooding back and in the year that followed, our store never sold another single copy. Not even used. In all honesty, we shipped all but 5 copies back as "deffective" because we couldn't get rid of them before inventory.

I know it's cheap now, but so are a lot of other games that don't disappoint.

MUA2 looks to be the sh*t. Wait for DD to show up in that and billy-club the hell out of people then.

Haha, you're right. I was looking at youtube vids and started getting frustrated.

on MUA2 - I love the extra details they added. DD's got elements of the movie suit, and Caps got some kind of biker/X-men padding on his pants. It just makes it feel real-er/live action-y.

they got 360 views of most of them here

not sure about Wolvie, they turned his suit into that bee keeper collar like Punisher has in War Zone

I'm loving the 3d character models for this game. As a huge DD fan, I loved that he was in the first and will be in this next installment. He's a beat'em-upper, so it felt somewhat redundant to have him on my squad with too many similar characters (IMO) from the first one. I hope there's more variety in the characters available this time around.
