Extensis Suitcase is the best you can get for the PC.

delete Comic Sans.

Your computer should speed up after that.

Seriously though... delete all those crappy fonts that you MIGHT one day use. Go download them when you need them.

Extensis Suitcase is the only font manager I've used and it works great on both PC and Mac. Jason's advice on deleting Comic Sans won't necessarily make your computer any faster, but it will make you a better person.

Its been proven that if you delete Comic Sans, your life will become better. Its also been proven that switching to Mac will take care of your XP/Vista blues.

Cool Thanks for the help. And I would love to switch to mac but money is a problem so until I get some extra scratch pc it is. My friend Ray has a Mod Book it is pretty amazing. I'm thinking that maybe the route I go?

Far as I know, a mod book costs twice as much since you first half to purchase the Mac, then send it in and get it turned into a Cintiq for about the same amount.

A Mac mini will do the job just fine for only $600.

Can you do dual monitors with it and don't they have to be Apple monitors?

You don't have to have an Apple monitor with a mini. One of my macs is a mini and I've a got a big Dell widescreen on it.

Never looked into dual monitors for it. haven't had a need.

I love the dual monitor setup and wouldn't want to part with it. But 600 stones is cheap, so...

The new Mac minis allow dual displays and they accept any monitor. I'm using a Samsung with mine.

Here's a look at the back. http://www.apple.com/macmini/features.html

I've been using Illustrator and Photoshop on a mini for the past two months. They can have up to 4 gigs of ram and feature a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 128MB or 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM.

To increase performance, I use Dashquit to quit Dashboard. http://elaum.free.fr/index.php?page=English/Dashquit
