I stopped checking MySpace, it just turned into this big pimp site for porn stars and models. Facebook has a much different atmosphere, you hardly ever see "Thanks for the add." and promotional graphics which are common on AddSpace.

Agreed. I use MySpace for business contacts, fans & online friends. I use Facebook for family and personal friends.

I'm same as Nate.

Amazing how many old high school friends I have re-connected with on facebook.

And it's just easier to share pictures with your family.

I've reconnected with people I haven't seen in over 20 years. I love it.

Really? I use facebook for pretty much everything now. I occasionally pop on myspace to catch up with people who only use it, but it has become so inundated with glitterspam and other crap that it has unfortunately become useless.

Facebook is so much cleaner, and I find it a lot more professional. I have both comic and film contacts on there, and I love the instant message feature.

Oh, and as for Kep, he's praying to various higher powers after a coffee/laptop incident.

Hello brothers and sisters!
Ok, I'm here. And, mostly alive. Here's the breakdown:

1. REALLY sick. Several months worth. Those of you who know me more than on here may know why (thank you Gulf War)...those who don't can take it on faith that when I get ill it's a life altering event.

2. Facebook's a much less labor-intensive / time-consuming check-in than here. I didn't want to do it half-assed, so I decided to not do it. The difference is hours...which I rarely had. I apologize for being absent without notice (AWON?)...I'll try to stay healthy.

3. Another note on Facebook...I use it for everything now too...and just sort folks into categories. It's a LOT simpler and my porn spam has dropped a million fold.

4. Coffee and laptops are much worse than oil and water. Oil and water have the courtesy to separate...coffee tends to hang a bit. Sigh. All seems to be working again, but my power's a bit wonky. However, I refuse to buy a new system until the specs on CS5 hit...also, I do not dig Vista and my beta-test of Win7 has impressed me so far...so another reason to accept wonky power for a titch.

Thank you all VERY much for your concern. i can't promise I will be here like I used to, but I will do my damnedest to be regular.

Good to see and your cool hat back on here.

I don't get porn friend adds and comment requests like I used to on MySpace. For me, it's easier now than it's ever been. But to each his own... I can certainly understand why you left.
