I LOVED the movie, I became a little obsessed for a while and had to do this pic to get it out of my suystem. It's not really straight up comic art, but I haven't posted anything in forever so I though I'd share.

I think I probably come here more for the non-comic art than I do for the comic art. And it's non-comic art like this that I come here for especially.

Fantastic! And it's amazing how you managed to get Rourke's likeness with what is, essentially, a silhouette! Again, fantastic!!!

Thanks guys! My wife thought I was like the weirdest guy on the planet for liking the movie so much... but I couldn't help it! I saw it as the story of what happens to all of us, with getting older and the body breaking down, and eventually kicking it. The only control we might have is to how we go out. The wife didn't really see the same meaning in it I guess. Anyway, I submitted this pic to the Communication Arts illustration annual yesterday so I'm hoping it might get to see print sometime.
