Zombie sequence and website update

Hello,
It's been a while since I last posted here. I was reworking my website which had only very old stuff which no longer reflected my work, so I erased everything and replaced with new art.

Below are 4 pages of a sequence I created just to test a new finishing style. Hope you like it. I inked with a Pentel brush pen and inkwashed it.
Hope 2009 will be great for everyone in DW!

Very nice style, Julia. I particularly like the opening images -- great mood to it, especially the third, larger panel there.

Looks fantastic so far.
Has a great EC Horror Comics mixed with animation look - must be the washes.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the kind words. I had good feedback on this new finishing style. Hope I get to do some real work using it soon.
I have 4 more pages on this sequence layouted, to give the short story sort of an ending. I'm trying to find the time to get them finished - when I do, I'll get them posted here for sure!

I see you're going with the Return of the Living Dead kind of zombies. I like it, you don't see many people go that route.

Glad you got the RotLD reference! Not many people seem to remember the movie. (Or maybe the reference wasn't clear enough
