Lookin for reference: original Cost of 1928-28 Neander motorcycle

I apologize if this is not the correct spot to place this request. I'm doing some research on a comic, Dance With Dagon (script can be found in the writer's scripting area), and I'd like to get an accurate price for a Neander 1926-1928 motorcycle. I'm looking for the original cost of such a thing. If anyone has prices for other bikes, but does not have this one in particular I wouldn't be above fudging just to get a ball park figure.

Thanks in advance.

Email Mr. Jan Poppe at Neander: jp@neander-motors.com

When in doubt, go to the source.

Thanks Guys,

KD, thanks, but the first person I wrote was Mr. Poppe a while back and have not received a reply. So, I thought I'd give a shot here.

rsoathman, I appreciate the links. Those were the links that I gave the artist for his research, and the first link is where I saw the Neander for the first time and thought it would be the perfect looking bike. I'm not a bike guy, but when I saw those pics of the Neander I knew that was the bike for this character.

Thanks again for all the help. Perhaps I can contact members from the links and get the information that way. If anyone has any catalogs from that time period that might be useful as well. My 1936 Sears catalog should be arriving any time now, so if anyone else ever needs info on 1936 items let me know.
