10th Muse 2nd cover....

This is the second pinup of three for the new 10th Muse comic series coming soon.

I went a bit darker with the pencils on this one to help on the colouring process and quite liked the results.

I'll post the colours here too when i get them

Very nice work and incredibly clean lines. The only crit is I think she's not quite sitting correctly her right buttock ( right from her perspective not right as we look at the page ) should be a little lower. Her pelvis looks a little thin otherwise. Really super stuff and great background.

I can't tell if anything's wrong with her backside, and I've been staring at it for an hour now...

Seriously good stuff. I like the sci-fi look, and though I no little of the Muse (isn't she an Egyptian Goddess? could be wrong) anyway, I would grab this off the shelf.

thanks, knockedoutpanzer! If you've been staring at it for that long I've more than achieved my goal hehe

Yea, this is based on the original series by Image but set 800 years in the future (hence the si-fi feel)

thanks for lookin

i agree that her right hip is disjointed and/or not placed right, but it really stood out to me. everything else looks slick and kick ass.

This looks really good to me. Even better than your first pinu-up.

PS- I actually just noticed that she has ripped clothing, which looks kind of weird and out of place to me, since she looks to be in pretty good condition otherwise and the whole scene is rather serene. What's up with that?

thanks for the comments guys! On the clothes; I was kinda going for a battle worn look to add a littel detail to the figure. If you look at her knees and arm I'v added in lots of little scratches and dents to try and get that across.

thanks again

WH

Well, I get that it's supposed to look battle worn, but that doesn't seem to fit the rest of the piece. She doesn't seem like she just came from battle or like she even could (do battle). She seems very relaxed and happy. Maybe a little playful. I think the tears in her clothing will just be distracting (especially when colored) and I don't feel they'll add anything. They'll make her look homeless rather than battle worn. Just my opinion...

hmmmmmm maybe she's revelling in victory after a hard fought battle and looking out over the land to which she’s defended, about to celebrate…. Or maybe this is just thinking in to things a little to much hehe seriously tho… cheers for the crits/ comments.

marcom
thanks, man! glad you dig the background... I love putting thought and detail in to these!
