God wins lawsuit on technicality

LINCOLN, Neb.(Oct. 16) - A judge has thrown out a Nebraska legislator's lawsuit against God, saying the Almighty wasn't properly served due to his unlisted home address. State Sen. Ernie Chambers filed the lawsuit last year seeking a permanent injunction against God.

Kind of scary to think that the only thing that brought about this turn of events was a lack of home address...

And yes, yes, feel free to start the prerequisite, "God would have to go down to Hell to get a good team of lawyers" jokes...

Just Bizzare. This state legislator crusades against religion, seemingly in response to the perversion of the original messages perpetrated by the followers, yet is willing to pervert the Nebraska Justice System to make a point.
Yeah. Just what we need...an immature legislator who will bog down the court system and waste tax payer money just to make a point. I love the creativity of the judge who found a way to throw away the pointless action without makeing a statement on the question of the existence of a god.

I would understand if he was trying to make a point about church and state separation, but...
