Heroes

"The German", master of Magnetism? Nice little nod there.

There were early elusions that Nikki and Nathan may be somehow related. I'm thinking Nikki has split personalities that "spawn" into real separate beings. Now I'm thinking Nathan has a similar relationship with Lindeman (perhaps Lindeman is Nathan from the future?)

Bit of confusion: I missed some of the last few eps of season two, but last I recall, Nathan was going for President. Now he's being merely asked to the seat of Junior Senator? Guh?

"Are you going to eat my brain?"
"That's digusting"

Classic

Suresh? He's Jeff Goldblum from "The Fly"!

AWESOME!!!
I loved every minute of tonight's episodes. Great stuff!!
The future looks bleak as shit!
The "heroes" certainly have their work cut out for them.

In the pre-episode they showed the scene of Claire standing on the tracks for the train. But in the actual episode, they had Peter fly in and grab her. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened.

Great episode. Great show. Not a boring moment.

No, he wasn't. He was an elected Senator, but he would have become the president a few years later after the bomb accelerated his career in Future Hiro's alternate future.

It's still heading towards his future of becoming president. Now who wants to bet that this season will all be about "Gettin' some Boo-tay!" for many of the characters. Suresh got some...(Making up for some lost tension with that other girl that died before they could roll in the loft)

Looks like Peter is on another journey...yet again. Only this time trapped in a villains body. Begs to ask the question though...where did that bald guy's identity go? Is it still inside somewhere? Will it manifest through Peter?

Nikki seems to have new powers....or is it her?

The funniest bit was Hiro opening the safe. "I told you not to open it!"

My one beef is with Claire.
Last season she seemed to accept what she was and had "grown up" enough to deal with it.
Now she's back to moping around wondering if she has a soul or is even human anymore. Seems like a step back in character progression for her.
Otherwise, everything else was as swell as could be!

My thoughts after last night.....

BIG SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT YET

Mother Patrelli tells Sylar she is his mother at the end of the second episode. Are Peter and Sylar really brothers? They have similar powers. Fraternal twins? The Company likes to baby swap.

Mother Patrelli's powers are to see things in her dreams. She says so in the second episode. I always thought that was Mr Deveroux's ability. Similar? If not, what was his? Is this in the comics at all? (I dont often read them on line)

Is Linderman Nathan's real dad? Claire and Linderman both have healing powers. Does Nathan as well since he came back from the dead? We assumed it was Linderman but he seems to be a ghost or trapped inside Nathan's mind.

What causes the end of the world this time? Is it the formula or is it Mohinder? A mix of both?

I didnt care for older Peter putting younger Peter in the other guy's body subplot but I do like he's working with his mother either way.

Nikki/Jessica/whoever: I think her powers are defense based. She's like a chemelion. The first two seasons she was trying to protect her family and needed a psycho killer w/ super strength to help her. Then she's caught in an explosion... heat, fire, smoke... and now we see her with ice based powers and a new identity. She could have 20 personas, each with a different power and identity, almost like Legion from the X-Men. Either way, I don't care who she is so long as she's HOT!
