Writers' Workshop - Challenge #1

Garage Sale.

Because this is the first challenge, this is going to be a "free write". Meaning the voice, theme, and tense is up to you, but you must include a garage sale in your story.
Please do not take an old story and add "Oh, and there was a garage sale, or something" to the end. Cheating will only be tolerated if you get away with it.

Keep it 1,500 to 2,000 words. Post your story in your own thread here in the Writer's Workshop and indicate it belongs to this challenge.

Sunday September 21st it the due date, the poll will begin then, and end on the 28th. (Unless we have a huge amount of entries).

Oooh, got my idea. I'm going to be really rusty, though, and can tell I'm going to have a hard time getting this story out and to take shape. I haven't written in quite a while now. But, this will be fun.
