Where to Submit..

Allo all, I've been out of the comic loop for a while. Focusing on other areas of art. And I have a question...or perhaps a request for advice?
What studios seem to be apt for hiring new artists these days? Or what titles, etc etc?
There is alot more out there since the days of marvel/dc/image that I grew up with.
My penciling style is a little diffrent, and I just wanted to know where my best bets are. I would really like to be ale to use my talent to make some much needed money and bring some peoples stories to life.
Anyone have any suggestions for me to try??
Thanks!

Thumbs up

Here's a link to "Submissions Resources" off of the Comic Art Links Directory at dragonberry.com...

Caleb Monroe's web site is an excellent place to start.

I found the best thing was to look for comic publishers via Google, reference which ones seem to be legit, and then look at their submission guidelines as the best bet. There is some leg work involved, but looking a bit further into the rabbit hole goes a long way toward finding the right publisher for your style.
