FOJ #2 onsale June 11th

Looks like Diamond needed more than 2 weeks to get this issue into circulation, so the *NEW* release date is the 11th.

Bug your shop if you want it. If your shop doesn't want to take your money, I will -- you can preorder a copy in the store right now. I should have my copies on Wednesday.

LOL, I have the collection that I still need to read and I already want this. I'll actually be able to order this one from you, as well as get a site sub soon, so you'll have my money.

Does #2 have the Back up story that Hardin did? The art I saw was badass.

Peace,

Which back-up? The only thing Chad's done that hasn't seen print yet will be worked into issue #4.

And - not that Ed can't use the money, but remember that ordering through a local comic shop reflects better on us as far as Diamond is concerned.

- UPS just dropped off my box of FOJ2. Came out sweet.

- The Chad Hardin story will be expanded and a part of the story in FOJ4. Chad has agreed to help out with thumbnails and I'm going to attempt to simulate Chad's art style so it won't be so jarringly different.

- If a shop hasn't ordered it, which I suspect most didn't based on sales, then the only way to grab it is through the online store.

Actually, I don't think it's 100 orders, but 100 copies. In other words, if that store ordered 20 copies and that was all Diamond got, they would never see those comics. But if four others stores ALSO ordered 20 copies, then Ed would finally get a purchase order from Diamond for 100 copies so they could fill the backorders.

In either case, it kinda stinks.

I've gotten reorders for as little as 6 copies. It really depends on how badly the shop wants to get the books.

It just means Diamond doesn't have any more copies on-hand to fulfill reorder requests.
