I like this! Very nice and clean with just the right amount of detail.
I love Batman's snarl.

Very nice, indeed.

I'm only a writer (with a casual art background) so take my advice however you want ... but I think the angle hurts this pic. It might have been better if you had turned it a little more to a face-to-face side veiw. Right now, all we're getting is 3/4 the back of Batman's head.

You have a lot of detail, and I think a close up side view like this could really showcase that, and give it a kind of Sam Kieth element to it.

Kind of like this ...

But also, just for fun, here's how he did his Batman/Joker.

It's good linework. Maybe a little heavy in the inks. But I'd like to see a pencils only side shot with some insane detail. That would make it more dynamic, I think.

I really like this, and I think you made the right choice as far as the angle... Batman is so easily recognizable, even by just his silhouette, that you don't really need to show more of him than you already have.

The way you went, you were able to show more of the Joker's face/grin - which makes sense to me. I think, if anything, you could have cropped the image differently. If you had shifted the "camera lens" a bit to the left, showing more of the Joker, maybe having Batman cut off at the edge of the farthest "ear", it would've removed some of the dead wall space in the upper right and framed the image better.

Just my opinion, though. Awesome work, none-the-less.

This is mine, a few years back. I still need to scan it right and I really want to see it colored, maybe like the light blue light grey look...thanks for the comments. I will post some more work.

Great stuff. I love the angle in the first one just because it's cool to see both of The Joker's batshit crazy eyes. Batman looks awesome and that background is cool.

And the movie's gonna rule!

I love the Batman vs Joker piece, and think you show plenty of Bats in this composition. Coming in, as we do, over his shoulder, somehow pulls us into the drama rather than simply view from a distance as the two profile shots offered up. But hey, art is subjective, right. I like what you've done a lot. Including
the kneeling figure with fallen Robin. Good stuff, all.
