Ghostrider on bike

Here is a drawing of Ghostrider that I have just finished. I've been working on some marvel drawings on the side...

Wow! That's damn goood. I love the details and the energy.

My only crit would be the tires. They look great, but they look more like smoke than flame. like he just drove through some puddles and extiguished his wheels. This could be somehting that'd be fixed by the colors, but as it stands they look a bit smokey.

Still, damn that's some good stuff.

Pretty Awesome, Match. I have to say this is one of the better Ghost Riders I've seen.

Some solid blacks on the bike would help seperate GR becuase right now they sort of blend together.

Lovin' the flames and the intensity but the motorcycle seems small and squished down. Also, Ghost rider shouldn't be able to put his legs like that, we should see the bottom on his boots. Pretty cool though, I'm lovin' the flames.

He's accually pushing himself forward on the bike, so his bum is off the seat . But ya, it does look a little squashed. I think color would take care of that, some blurring or suthin'. Thanks

Here's what I meant.

1. The cycle is too small no matter how you "want" to look at it. The placement of the pedal is on the wheel and shouldn't be and since we are up under the bike we shouldn't see the top of his foot no matter what he is doing.
2. By raising the handlebars it makes the motorcycle "fill out" and gives GR the necessary room to "look" like he is pushing forward on the motorcycle and reaching over the handle bars(you'd still have to redraw GR though). And to make it more like he is up on the bike his elbow should be up not back.
3. Pedal is on the back wheel. They don't do that on motorcycles.
4. Normal pedal placement is way up front, his legs would follow suit and since he is "actually pushing himself over the bike" you would have to redraw most of GR to get it right.

The art itself looks really good but the picture gets lost in its mistakes. Take it as a compliment though, the better you are, the harder the crits. And your picture deserved digging deeper because you are obviously on your way.
