The amount of detail you put into R2 is phenomenal...

huh?

You guys can thank me for this by sending me 10 dollars each.

Have your eyes checked..seriously haha

The R2 is the one i really really don't like. I didn't think it had alot of detail.

When you aim for doing work like Cat, Khoi and Jedipencil and you get this it becomes a severe disappointment yet it's for a good cause!

Thank you for the kind compliments though.

Well, I used to do a little 3D because I would stay after school and help one of the teachers in the Mac lab. Had a Lightwave version of R2 made by someone who had worked on the original physical prop from the Original Trilogy, and so it's nice to see someone put in the effort of the little hatches and the like that I'm so used to seeing.

I tried. I crossed referenced so many pictures of R2...there are things that have been changed but I tried to get everything in. It's amazing, I thought "ok, this will be real simple, just a garbage can with legs" nope. Not to mention how freakin small these cards are. I drew this small when I was 10. So hard to get detail that tiny for me.

because I am now officially dead broke and my "monster" talent doesn't sell.

It's going to suck when I do that viking painting because I can envision it being great but I bargained with my friend to buy the clayboard I will paint on and told him he could have it when it's done...I just wanted practice on clayboard more then anything.

The hulk is mine too, because I like hulk and I didn't need a photo ref for it.

The E.t. does look kinda cool. I liked rendering the brows on it.

Don't respect me, ask those who see me in chat...i am evil >

Great job!

I'm a very defeatist artist. Especially coming to a site like this and seeing guys like Khoi or gals like jedi and cat...in this instance I was upset that I couldn't do these in color in a painted style...markers woulda been nice but having just lost my job and the things being way overpriced it wasn't an option.
